Cultivating relationships with leaders from other states to defend states' rights, strengthen interstate cooperation, and advance the principles of federalism.
Working to strengthening our legislature and advancing the role of states in shaping policy. This nonpartisan Federalism initiative, Speaker Packard and I are working on--along with NCSL (National Conference of State Legislatures), SLLF (State Legislative Leaders Foundation), and all 50 states--brings together state legislative leaders to collaborate, defend state authority, push back on federal overreach, and restore balance between state and federal governments.
